Horus – Chakra Overview

Your Crown Chakra is the one that needs your attention right now.

Before you continue – PLEASE make sure you ground yourself before you do any work on your Crown Chakra. The Chakra Clearing meditation is a good start.

When working with the Crown Chakra, it’s extremely important to have first worked on the other body Chakras in order to create a stable and grounded platform for your Crown Chakra work. It’s a very important Chakra and part of its function is to help keep the other Chakras open and functioning optimally. When working directly on the Crown Chakra, it’s always essential to start with grounding and clearing the Root Chakra.

If we neglect the other Chakras, and especially the Root Chakra, when it comes to balancing the Crown Chakra we can cause extreme problems e.g. spiritual crisis and addictions.

Main topics associated with the Crown Chakra: Enlightenment and transcendence – including the ability to understand cosmic consciousness. This chakra is also related to spirituality, our relationship to god/tao, etc, universal source energy, and self-knowledge.

When in balance
A balanced Crown Chakra leaves us with the abilities to create whatever we want in our life experience – we are Alchemists, we have no fear of death, we’re miracle workers, open to the Divine

Under active
An under active Crown Chakra may exhibit through being indecisive, having no creativity, no joy in life, and a feeling of melancholy.

Over Active
An over active Crown Chakra may exhibit as being frustrated, manic depressive, migraines, and having unrealised power.
