Horus as a tool to release yourself from Ego

Horus represents the creative arts and is also representative of the energies of physical healing. Horus is typically depicted as being very attractive, with a popular personality. Music and the Arts were attributed to him and beauty in all forms is represented by this card. Horus represents the family, and specifically a happy family.
Horus was the defender of his family’s honour, when he avenged the wrongs that Set committed against his father. As such, when this card appears here for you, it implies that you are totally willing and able to defend that which (or who) you hold most dear.
Horus was also destined to avenge the wrongs done to his father Osiris so this card can represent someone who feels that they have been oppressed or unjustly treated in life. However, it’s also indicative that you often stand up for people who can’t stand up for themselves. Horus is brave and heroic. And he is not scared to do what he needs to do to make life better for the people he loves. Do you feel as if you need to make a stand anywhere?
Horus is the happy card. He brings about physical healing, joy in the arts and a harmonious result. So if you want to embrace something that would release yourself from Ego, then you should focus on what makes you truly happy.
He won through in the end, and when he appears for you here, then you should too. And given that Horus is the deity associated with the Crown Chakra, you are on target to do so.
So observe yourself when you are happy. What we focus on increases, and this is an opportunity to disregard the parts that make you unhappy and notice when you feel good. Horus overcame the injustices in his past. He did it by vanquishing an evil god. You can do it by choosing to be happy.

And finally, Horus is inextricably linked with the physical healing process. What can you do to facilitate any physical healing you might need?
