Osiris – Chakra Overview

Your Root Chakra is the one that needs your attention right now.

Main topics associated with the Base Chakra:
Survival, primal energy, taking care of self, and others. It’s also associated with physical needs, tribal associations, and self-preservation

When in balance
A balanced Base/Root Chakra is all about feeling safe and secure. It allows us to take a healthy pride in our family and culture because we feel rooted. It provides us with the feeling of being connected to the physical world. When you’re balanced here, you’ll feel grounded, in charge of yourself, you’ll be able to manifest abundance, and you’ll have limitless energy

If the Base/Root Chakra is ‘off’ then it’s impossible to build a solid structure on a bad foundation.

Under active
An under active Base Chakra may exhibit through feelings of a lack of self-esteem, having your head in the clouds, procrastination, low sex drive, and a sense of insecurity.

Over Active
An overactive Base Chakra may exhibit as egotistic, selfish and materialistic behaviours. Sexual focus is solely genital, and the accompanying energy is dominating.

Information about Osiris

Osiris was the Big Boss of The Underworld, and in Egyptian mythology, he’s associated with prosperity, afterlife, healing, and fertility. He was even known as the ‘god of seed sprouting’ and closely associated with the growth of agricultural crops as they were thought to go through the same kind of rebirth as Osiris did.

The Underworld is representative of the Root Chakra, and Osiris is linked to the concepts of steadiness, security, and self-preservation.
